He knows better delivers for favourite backers

HE KNOWS BETTER (8yo Ch G) gained a first win over fences after a never say die ride from Champion Jockey Sean Bowen.

The favourite looked beat heading towards he last, but a high class ride from Bowen helped rally HE KNOWS BETTER to get up to win by 3/4 of a length from William Cody.

A consistent gelding, this son of JET AWAY had shown promise on his previous two starts over fences finding one too good each time. In 9 starts since joining the Warren Greatrex stable, HE KNOWS BETTER has been placed in all 7 starts he completed. A fun horse to be involved with for connections.

Congratulations to trainer Warren Greatrex, owners Mrs Isobel Webb & Mrs Julie Fowler and breeders S Shiel, D Savage & T Nolan. HE KNOWS BETTER was a €52,000 store purchase by Marcus Collie from the Peter Nolan Bloodstock draft at the 2021 Goffs NH Store sale.
