Festival on the radar

The fiercely contested St James’s Place Festival Hunter Chase at next months Cheltenham Festival may be on the agenda for GALE FORCE JET (7yo b g) following a third victory in four starts between the flags since December. Form figures for this season now read three wins and three placings from seven starts. A great training effort by handler Sean Doyle. This is a third victory between the flags at Tinahely.

An exciting horse for owner Gearoid Doyle, trainer Sean Doyle and breeder Phil & Jan Mathias.

SUB EDITOR (5yo b g) took out the 5yo Geldings Maiden on debut on the same card for a JET AWAY double at Tinahely. SUB EDITOR justified favouritism when making all on debut under claimer JJ Berry for owner Anna Berry and handler J.P. Berry.
