Jet Away’s in demand at Goffs

Jet Away’s stock continued to prove popular in the sales ring at the Goffs December National Hunt Sale with 14 foals selling up to €50,000 and at an average price of €16,714.

Top lot for the Jet Away’s was Lot 499 a full brother to Grade 1 winner Brandy Love – winner of the EBF mares Novice Final Hurdle Grade 1 at Fairyhouse in April – who sold to Ballymaglassan Stud for €50,000. The Willie Mullins-trained six-year-old is one of the leading chances for next year’s Stayers’ Hurdle (Grade 1) at the Cheltenham Festival.

The second highest lot went the way of Bleahen Bros for €43,000 for Lot 680 a Bay or Brown Colt out of the stakes-placed mare Fickle Fortune who is the dam of Grade 3 winner The Model Kingdom. This is the family of Hardline and The Game Changer.
