
Jet Away Tops Day Three At August NH Sale
Jet Away topped the third day of the Tattersalls Ireland August National Hunt sale when a three year-old gelding out of Just A Moment realised €37,000 to the bid of Ridgewood Bloodstock.
Jet Away’s first crop have been well-received at the sales this season headed by a €60,000 purchase by Moneg Stables at the Tattersalls Ireland June Sale closely followed by a trio of geldings each making €45,000.
Leading trainers Willie Mullins, Joseph O’Brien and Gordon Elliott have all be supporters in what has been a very promising start in the sales ring for the Group-winning son of Cape Cross.
The top lot at the August National Hunt Sale, Lot 752, a three year-old gelding out of Bod Back mare Just A Moment who is a daughter of the stakes performed Lady Arpel. This is also the family of See U Bob and Eligado.
In total this year 23 three-year-olds have sold this season at an average price of €18,465 for an aggregate of €424,700 a fantastic return on investment from his 2015 service fee of €1,500.
